The School Day

 

Each morning at Pacific Northern Academy, students run down the halls eager to get to class for a day of learning. 

 

• Student Drop-off: 8:15 - 8:30 am

• School Hours: 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

• Student Pick-up: 3:15 to 3:25 pm 

 

Extended Day Program

 

Lower and Middle School Extended Day Programs are designed to make early drop-off and late pick-up possible for parents.

 

• Morning EDP Hours: 7:00 to 8:15 am 

• Afternoon EDP Hours: 3:25 to 6:00 pm

 

School Day Policies

 

Students should arrive at school between 8:15 and 8:30 am unless enrolled in AM Extended Day Program (EDP).

 

Before 8:15 am teachers are busy preparing for the day and should not be interrupted unless an appointment has been scheduled. In the afternoon, students in all grades (EK-8) must be picked up in the classroom or EDP by a parent or other authorized person; students are not dismissed to the parking lot.

 

Any students not picked up on time will join PM EDP, and parents will be charged the drop-in rate for this service. Students are not allowed on campus after 6:00 pm unless participating in a school event that is supervised by a faculty member or accompanied by a parent.
